FAQ

What if I forgot my username or password?
If you forgot your username or password, just enter your email address again and press "create account". Your existing username and a new password will be sent to your email address.

What if I didn't receive the email that it says it sent?
If you did not receive the email, maybe your spam filter correctly decided that it was an automatically generated email and hid it from you (gmail sometimes does this: even looking at "all mail" won't show you the messages in "spam"), or maybe the email is still on its way, and got delayed or stuck somewhere in the internet between this server and your email server.
Anyway, if you can't find it in your spam folder or anywhere, and you want it to send you another email, just enter your email address again and press "create account" again. Don't worry, it won't make a second account. It will just send you another email to let you access your first account. You can do this as often as you want.

Why do I need to create an account?
You need to create an account because when you turn in homework on this web site, the web site needs to know who you are so you can get credit for your work.

Why do I need to provide my email address?
This is the only way you can regain control of your account if you forget your password. Also, we sometimes distribute important class information by email.
